Our Lady of Lourdes is one of two Roman Catholic Primary Schools which is part of the faith and educational journey of the parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel and Guardian Angels.

The school is a welcoming school which  strives at all times to provide a safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere. We recognise and respect the diversity of each person. Education, celebration and reconciliation are the focus of our community.

Pastoral Care

All members of staff are involved in the pastoral care of the children under the overall direction of the Headteacher. A sense of belonging and personal worth is encouraged as an aid to continuous learning. If at any time there is parental concern, it is recommended that it is discussed with the relevant teacher. The Headteacher, or Deputy will be most willing to give attention to the matter if this is necessary.

The school liaises with a range of Support Services as required, including the Education Welfare Officer, Speech and Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, the Sensory Impaired Service, School Health Adviser, the Psychological Service as well as Catholic Support Agencies.
